CONTENT CONTRIBUTION, MODERATION & APPROVAL (CMAP) POLICY

The authorized content manager will contribute the content. This will be carried out in a coherent manner to ensure uniformity and also to bring about standardization along with associated keywords and metadata. To put forward content according to the users' requirements, the content is organised categorically and for the efficient retrieval of the required content, the content is provided on the mobile application with the help of a web-based Content Management System that has a user-friendly interface.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of India and the State of Odisha. In case of any disputes, the court of law shall be the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The life cycle of the mobile application content is a process of:

  • Creation
  • Modification
  • Approval
  • Moderation
  • Publishing
  • Expiry

After the content is contributed and before it is published on the mobile application, it undergoes approval and moderation. If at any stage the content gets rejected, it is sent back to the content originator for making changes.

CONTENT ARCHIVAL POLICY (CAP)

The content components are made with validity date, source and metadata. Some content can be permanent and for this type of content, there is an assumption that a review of the content will happen on a periodic basis unless it is deleted or edited on the basis of certain requirements. After the intended purpose, the content components that are short-lived, for instance, recruitment, tender, etc., will bear no relevance on the site.

CONTENT REVIEW POLICY (CRP)

Efforts have been made to keep the mobile application’s content up-to-date and current. In Content Review (CRP) policy, the responsibilities and roles of website content review are clearly defined. It also tells the manner in which these are executed. Review policies are crafted for various content elements. PERMISSIONS REQUIRED TO USE OUR MOBILE APPLICATION

When you install the Odisha Tourism app on your mobile phone, a set of permissions appears that are required for the programme to work properly. The permissions that we require, as well as the data that will be accessed and used, are as follows:

Location:

This permission allows us to provide you with location-specific information. When you activate our app to look up for some location or utilities or site, we identify your location and auto-fill your nearby utilities. We also need this permission to propose nearby hotels and amenities if you are running late and want to make a fast last-minute check-in. Your selections are tailored to your location.

Camera:

This permission allows you to utilise your camera from within the app to submit a fresh profile photo, an image for sharing hotel, cars, and tourist spot reviews.

Audio:

We use audio permission to hear the content of the video posted on the mobile application.

Wi-Fi connection:

When you give us permission to identify your Wi-Fi connection, we improve your experience by adding more detail to maps, faster image loading, additional hotel/events/package options, and so on.

Photo/ Media/ Files:

These permissions are used by the app's libraries to allow map data to be stored on your phone's external storage, such as SD cards. By storing map data locally, your phone avoids having to re-download the same map data each time you use the app. This ensures a smooth Map-based booking experience, even on low-bandwidth networks.

MOBILE APPLICATION MONITORING PLAN

Application monitoring takes place from time to time for addressing and solving the compatibility and quality problems around the parameters mentioned below:

Functional:All application modules are tested in terms of functionality or use. The site has interactive components, for instance, feedback forms that work seamlessly.
